WHY READING 20 MINUTES A DAY HAS CHANGED MY LIFE + MY FAVOURITE BOOKS SO FAR

I have to start out and say I love books. I used to despise reading, thinking it was a waste of time. Oh how I was wrong. It is amazing how words on a piece of paper can be so influential, can teach you so much and express so much emotion with just a small phrase.

I mostly use my reading time to delve into personal development books to improve myself and my life. Stimulating your mind in different ways such as reading improves your overall mind health. I have noticed for myself by reading at least 20 minutes every night before bed enables me to not only de-stimulate from technology but also has helped me so much with reading text out loud and in my head more efficiently, my spelling has improved and my overall writing has improved as well.

We don’t realise it but because we are getting so used to videos, audio & auto-correct we are starting to let go of the vital skill which is reading and writing in an accurate and effective manner. Reading doesn’t need to be a chore, it should be enjoyable and you should read something that you are interested in.
