EASY, VEGAN, RAW CACAO BLISS BALLS RECIPE
Omg guys, this recipe is TO...DIE...FOR! Well maybe not die for, but they are very delicious!
I have decided I am going to stop (or limit) my spending on pre-packaged food and make my meals and snacks at home. I do a Sunday meal prep making my meals for the week ahead. I usually take a museli bar or something sweet to hit that sugar craving at 10:30 am, so I thought why not this week make the all famous Bliss Balls :)
I loosely followed the basis of a recipe online but threw in whatever I was feeling. I hope you try this recipe and remember you can add whatever you want and tailor it to your taste buds. BE CREATIVE!
CACAO BLISS BALLS RECIPE - 24/04/2018
Ingredients
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup natural almonds
1/4 cup organic cacao powder
2 Tablespoons pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
2 Tablespoons cranberries
5 pitted dates
2 Tablespoons warm water
desiccated coconut
Method
Add the almonds and oats in the blender. Pulse until you get a coarse crumb type texture.
Add the rest of the ingredients excluding the dates & water. Pulse until the pepitas, and cranberries are broken down.
Roughly chop the dates and add to the blender with the warm water.
Blend for 1 minute or until it cant blend anymore.
Place the mixture into a bowl and start mixing the ingredients with your hands until all of the ingredients are incorporated.
Make a separate bowl with a small amount of desiccated coconut. Roll the mixture in your hands to form a small ball. Roll the ball in the coconut.
Repeat this process.
Once complete store in the refrigerator and it's ready to eat!
Watch the video below where I explain :)
