Stress in today’s society is a huge issue in the cause of dis-ease of the body in today’s society.
When a person is in a high stress situation, the bodies natural reaction is to go into a fight or flight mode response. However, because we have grown accustomed to reacting to what is known as ‘perceived emergencies’ like being stuck in traffic or trying to meet a deadline at work, the stress which is created in these minor situations are causing the body not to be able to function properly or be in a balanced state known as homeostasis.
